The aim of project is to estimate the researcher's mobility within the European Union by investigating and analyzing publicly available data sources with a view to determine the values of indicators on geographical mobility and career of researchers in a representative sample of countries taking part in the Sixth Framework Programme.

Outcomes

The study provided a detailed quantitative analysis on a sample of the 33 countries taking part in the Framework Programme VI. This sample aimed to represent the diversity of situations concerning the status and situation of researchers and allows for an assessment of the usefulness of data sources pertaining to these issues. 6 countries were reviewed.
