BackgroundSlavo Radosevic is Professor of Industry and Innovation Studies at School of Slavonic and East European Studies, University College London and SPRU Visiting fellow. His research interests are in the area of science, technology, industry, innovation and growth in countries of central and eastern Europe and he continues to be involved in international projects in this area. He has published extensively in international journals on issues of innovation and innovation policy in countries of central and eastern Europe. He is the author of ‘International Technology Transfer and Catch Up in Economic Development’, Edward Elgar, 1999. He is co-editor of four recent volumes: F. McGowan, S. Radosevic and N. von Tunzelmann, The emerging industrial structure of the wider Europe, Routledge, London. 2004, Radosevic, S. and B. Sadowski (eds.) International industrial networks and industrial restructuring in central Europe, Russia and Ukraine, Kluwer, 2004; Piech. K. and S. Radosevic (2006) Knowledge based economy in central and eastern Europe: countries and industries in a process of change, Palgrave, and Edvard Kobal and Slavo Radosevic (Eds.), Modernization of science policy and management approaches in central and south east Europe, NATO Science Series, IOS Press, Amsterdam 2005 Contribution to EWNSlavo Radosevic served as Senior Policy Analyst in the first phase of ERAWATCH Base load in 2006. He is now Management Committee member.
Other projectsSlavo Radosevic has been an expert for various DGs of European Commission, as consultant for OECD, UNIDO, UNECE, World Bank and Asian Development Bank, and has worked on technical assistance projects with Ernst & Young and TNO. He is consultant to the National Council for Competitiveness of Croatia and senior policy analyst within the EU DG Enterprise funded TRENDCHART programme. His advisory expertise is in several areas of S&T and innovation policy and restructuring. | |
