Economist, graduated from the Univestity of Oslo (cand. oecon.) and with a Master of Arts in Science and Technology Studies from University of Oslo and University Louis Pasteur, Strasbourg (ESST programme).

After years of experience working in the main Norvegian social science research institutes (NIFU & STEP), Aris is working at NIFU STEP, the leading Norwegian research institute for studies in innovation, research, and education as Head of Research and Program Director.
