Description


Minerva S.àr.l. is a young company, formed in 2005 and based in Luxembourg. Minerva produces both its own proprietary research and bespoke research as requested by its clients throughout Europe.

Expertise includes:

Recent work includes research on the European alternative energy landscape, both technological and political, an analysis of renewable energy investment opportunities and creation of a web site, www.2020ae.com. In addition, Minerva has been an ongoing contributor to FOCUS magazine, a publication of the Luxembourg government highlighting both private and public sector innovation in the Grand Duchy. Ongoing projects include presenting work on “Knowledge Supply Chains” at the World Bank Conference “Innovation Policies & Strategies for the XXIst Century” in Paris in June and presenting “The Missing Intangible: Adding Ethics to the Intellectual Capital Mix” at “Luxembourg 2020: 4ème colloque luxembourgeois sur l'économie de la connaissance dans une perspective européenne “ in December.

In addition, Minerva was a participant in Luxembourg's IP Forum, which made recommendations to the government resulting in changes to the laws on the taxation of intellectual property. The 2007 law rewards private sector innovation and public sector spinoffs.

 Previously, Minerva's head was a member of the CEPROS (Centre d'Etudes Prospectives) team which assessed the state of the Grand Duchy's adoption of new media and made recommendations to the government on ways to encourage the development of the digital economy in Luxembourg in 2000 and again in 2004.
